A homeschool academic award that says exactly what it is
- Free, no account
- Signed by the parent-educator
- Your own criteria on it
- Verify QR code
- Names only
As the parent-educator, you set the criteria and give the award for your home school. The certificate states your criteria and who signed it, with a code anyone can check. Free, with no account.
Honest about what a homeschool award is
A homeschool award is the parent-educator’s recognition of their own student. The certificate says so: it names your home school, quotes your criteria and carries your signature line. The verify code proves the certificate has not been changed and who issued it. It does not prove that anyone outside your family checked the work.
That is still worth having. A clear criterion (“completed Algebra I with an average above 90%”) and a dated, checkable certificate read better in a portfolio than a template. For outside weight, pair it with a standardized test result or a co-op teacher’s letter.
How the free academic awards work
Built on the same engine our volunteer awards already use. Free for every school, with no account.
- 1
Paste your list of students
Names from your spreadsheet, each with Excellence or Achievement and a grade. Nothing else: no grades, scores, birth dates or emails.
- 2
Your principal issues them
Write the school’s criteria in one line, such as “GPA of 3.5 or higher, or a teacher’s recommendation”. The principal confirms the students met them, and that line goes on every certificate.
- 3
Print them all for the ceremony
One click prints every certificate, each with a QR code and a code that opens its verify page. Show an honor roll if you want one: first names and last initials only, hidden from search engines.

Questions
Will a college accept a homeschool academic award?
It counts for what it is: your recognition of your student, under criteria you state. The verify code proves the certificate is unchanged and who issued it, not that a third party checked the grades.
What criteria should I use?
Whatever you actually used, in one plain sentence, such as “completed Algebra I with an average above 90%” or “read 40 books this year”. It is printed on the certificate.
Is my child’s name public?
Only on the certificate’s verify page, which needs its code. There is no public list unless you turn one on, and then it shows only the first name and last initial.
