How it works
- 1
Recognize your volunteers
Paste your roster and issue the Laurelroll Service Honor, or a certificate of service, to each volunteer. Tick the ones who agreed to be listed.
- 2
Open the board on your lobby screen
Your organization page has the board link. Open it on any TV or monitor with a browser and press Full screen. It turns its own pages and adds new awards every 15 minutes.
- 3
Put it on your website
Copy the embed code and paste it into your site. Every name opens its verify page, so the board is proof, not just a list.

The Laurelroll Service Honor
Free bronze, silver and gold levels for hours your supervisors confirmed in the last 12 months. The hour levels match the ones the President's Volunteer Service Award used before it was paused, so they mean the same thing to a reader. It is our own recognition, not a government award.

Questions
What does it cost?
Nothing. The board, the embed and the awards behind them are free for any number of volunteers, with no subscription and no account.
What screen do I need?
Any TV or monitor with a web browser: a smart TV, a streaming stick, or an old laptop plugged in by HDMI. Open the board link, press Full screen, and leave it. It turns the page by itself and picks up new awards every 15 minutes.
How do I put it on our website?
Copy the embed code from your organization page and paste it into any page builder that accepts HTML (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and most others have an embed or code block). It shows the same names as your honor roll.
Who appears on it?
Only volunteers you recognized with a Laurelroll award and chose to list on your public honor roll, with their consent (a parent’s for anyone under 18). You can take a name off at any time.
Can it list donors or sponsors?
Not yet. Every name on the board is a volunteer award your organization issued and attested, which is what lets visitors scan the QR code and check it.
Can people check a name?
Yes. The QR code on the board opens your public honor roll, and every name there opens its own verify page with the hours, period, level and who issued it.
